The historic Algha Works factory in London’s East End was home to our eyewear from 1932 until 2020, operating with the original machinery brought over from Rathenow, Germany by founder Max Wiseman, who created the company in 1898. In 2020, the ancient machines were taken to Italy for refurbishment by Cadore’s legendary craftsmen.
